Public Health and Information Intelligence

Using information to support improvement

There is a wealth of data available on health and population trends that can be used in an intelligent and targeted way to reveal new knowledge about how to improve health and healthcare. The CLAHRC Public Health and Information Intelligence theme conducts research on using data to improve health and care, and provides support for people working to make improvements. As well as providing direct support to CLAHRC NWL improvement teams, we have created online resources that can be applied to analyse data and give guidance and support to NHS clinicians, managers, commissioners and patients when making decisions about improving health and care.
